Introduction
This information network is a part of an international effort to promote better understanding of the impacts of climate change on biodiversity and associated conservation response needs. For the first time such a multi disciplinary range of research, publications, specialists and organisations is being brought together to help the conservation community most effectively address the climate change challenge.
It is hoped to create a more user friendly web-enabled version but given the urgent need to disseminate this information the current Word document has been made as dynamic as possible – placing the cursor over the contents subject headings (control click) takes you to the respective subject area and, where available, the references are live-linked to websites which can be accessed in the same manner. ZSL does not hold any responsibility for the material on third party sites.
For general guidance only, a first level evaluation has been conducted and a simple ranking system devised to categorise the reference material:
